Perhaps it’s 2am, you’re blurry eyed and pleading with a baby to go back to sleep. Or maybe you’re dealing with the aftermath of a poonami while already 15 minutes late to work. Or you’ve just got the kids off to school and you’re alone with your thoughts thinking of the chaos of the morning’s routine. Sometimes it’s easy to feel like we are the only ones going through certain challenges or feeling the way we’re feeling.

Truth be told, there are mums, dads, grandparents, kinship and foster carers, and stepparents across Queensland, Australia, and the world feeling the way you do right now! And there’s always support available for anyone feeling challenged! Even if the grass is looking pretty green on your side of the fence right now, it’s good to know where to go for help when it’s needed. Of course, family and friends are always great to chat with, but if they’re not an option or if things are a little bigger than they can manage, you can look further afield.

Good news is we’ve done the groundwork for you and pulled together a collection of great resources – just to have in your back pocket! Why not share them with a friend over a cuppa – you never know when they might need a helping hand too.
